We discovered that in a rarely seen part of our second floor roof, the siding had been pulled out from the wall and had become an access point for mice into our attic. I called AB Edwards and they had someone out the next day to look at it. The work to replace that portion of the siding was done the next week. The other company I had called couldn’t even come out to prepare an estimate for 2 weeks, let alone actually do the work. I appreciated the fast, quality service from AB Edwards.

I've used AB Edwards for two large projects at my house - a full roof replacement after hail damage and existing stucco repair. On both projects, they were professional in terms of communication prior to and ultimately the quality of the work. Both projects required some components that were quoted as time & materials (removing stairs to access stucco and replacing wood decking on the roof) and both times they were fair and transparent in the process, coming in under the good faith estimates they provided before and during the work.

A.B.Edwards is an outstanding company! They installed a metal access attic ladder to our flat roof. Chris Ryba was the Project Manager. He determined what we needed and how it would be done. Everyone on the job was professional, skilled and careful when doing the job. I would only hire A.B.Edwards if you need an attic ladder installed.

We were very happy with the work done by A.B. Edward Enterprises. They replaced our attic fan. We were given a handful of service options from simple attic fan replacement to more involved work involving insulation removal. We opted for just the replacment, but very much appreciated knowing the full scope. I would highly recommend them.

I was given a roofing estimate for my shed, the garage and for work to refasten my gutters. Many companies won't bother, but AB Edward was more than willing to do it. The price was fair, so I accepted the work on the gutters. They were on time and did the work in a little over an hour. They did a good job. I would definitely recommend them for any kind of work. Roofing estimate was a little pricey so I declined, but Andy is very thorough and recommended the gutters get refastened. He also looked at the condition of my house roof even though I didn't ask. Andy is very thorough and made sure that he looked over everything. Very professional company.

We had a new chimney cap and tuckpointing done this summer by AB Edwards. The crew was outstanding. Worked a two day schedule cleanup and was gone before we realized it. We would use them in future for other projects.

I had a tree fall on my house and A. B. Edwards took care of everything. From replacing my gutter,, fixing the shingles on my roof and painting the inside of my house. I would recommend them to anybody who needed to have work on their house or even build them a house. They do beautiful work.

I had A.B.Edward replace our shingles and gutters after seeing the good work of their crews over several years and because their showroom nearby let us easily compare materials as needed.
They started the job promptly and finished it on time and without cost overruns. There were no problems on completion, and there are no problems four seasons later. I am totally satisfied with their performance and will look to them again for future projects.

Chris Schwartz and AB Edward were wonderful to work with, from start to finish. We were drawn to Chris by his honesty. He's one of those guys who oozes integrity. After we hired him, he was stellar. As the cherry on the sundae, he just finished PERSONALLY painting two pieces of wood they replaced on the roof - it's 20 degrees outside. It's Saturday. He lives 30 minutes from here. And he's insisting on painting two coats. That's a testament to his focus on customer satisfaction and his attention to detail. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Great experience for our gutters/downspouts replacement project! Chris, the project manager, met me at the house to discuss what I was looking for and what we were experiencing with the gutters & downspouts that were on the house. Anytime it rained a decent amount, the rain water would come off the roof, miss the gutters and fall right into flower beds, bushes, etc. Whatever rain water was captured by the gutters, the downspouts could not handle causing the gutters to overflow in certain areas. Chris agreed with me that oversized downspouts would be best as well as having the gutters installed correctly with the right pitch. A contract was signed, very competitive pricing, installers arrived about a week later and the job was done professionally in about 6 hours! The installers were great, they introduced themselves before starting work, gave me updates as they progressed and informed me once they were done. They had me visually inspect their work and then they cleaned up all their debris. Very happy from start to finish with this business!!!

This is the third time I have hired A.B. Edwards for exterior renovation work and they are excellent. Their customer service is awesome with responses to emails within a few hours if not sooner. Their workmanship is of the highest quality and they always clean up after each days work. I have had them install new gutters, a new cedar shake roof, do tuck pointing and install new limestone sills, and now paint the house and barn. All done perfectly with a high level of attention to detail. I can highly recommend them.

I hired AB Edward to redo a metal roof on my Kenosha house over 10 years ago. The other roofing contractor I hired was unscrupulous and I had to sue them in court. AB Edward redid the entire roof and garage for a 4000 sq ft house. There have been no problems since and I don't foresee any problems for a long time. I also recommended them to others. If you want exterior construction done right, pay what a reputable contractor is worth the first time so you don't have issues with repairs in the future.

I'm glad I did business with A.B. Edward. From the beginning they were great answering all of our questions about our damaged roof. We decided to go with natural slate tiles and we could not be happier with the look of it! They came in and took care of everything! I did not have to worry about permits, inspections, etc. I just paid them at the end. The job was great and hassle-free. I would highly recommend them to anyone without hesitation!

A.B. Edward is fantastic. They did great work on my roof and at a reasonable price. They were quick to come out and assess the situation and just as fast, if not faster, to come out and resolve the leaks I was experiencing. We have had so much rain this summer in the Chicago area we just knew it was time for a roofing repair when we started using buckets in our living room. I couldn't believe how quick the turnaround time was. They even took the tarp and everything holding it down off of my roof and stacked it neatly on the side of my house for me. It is very difficult to find a roofing company that is honest and here to stay. As a Realtor in Chicago, I have needed so many questions answered, so many homes inspected and in turn, several roofs replaced. Bo and his crew at AB Edward are the best in the town. They have been in business for MANY years, and have some of the best customer service I have ever been given. After researching several roofers I decide to hire AB Edwards to repair two roofs in my home. Dane came and did my roof in one day. His prices were unbeatable for the service. He was very professional and also very friendly. He handled all my problems and gave me the security that if there was any other leaks in my roof he would service them. I am now much more secure knowing that he upgraded my roof. When he serviced my roof he recommended a roof that will not need servicing for at least a decade. I would indubitably recommend him and the AB Edward roofing company for another job.

I had them completely redo the siding on the backside of my house, which included a very tall/high chimney. They also touched up other trim work around the house and painted everything to match my existing trim. They really did a great job. The workmanship was great, the follow-up and customer service was superior. i will definitely use them again They really are the best company I've dealt with in years! Our James Hardie siding looks amazing and we even had a few compliments from the neighbors! Excellent work, you won’t be disappointed!

I had A.B. Edwards Enterprises install a new cedar roof on my home, because the old roof got damaged after a bad storm. They also removed and replaced the gutters wonderfully and did some extra work which was quoted reasonably. All the workers were polite and professional, the project was completed within the schedule and the new roof looks perfect! I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of a top quality roofing service.

This is a very professional company. They are on time, do not recommend replacements when repairs are needed, or will do, and they haul away garbage. They discuss options with you, make a recommendation and then execute your preference. They are prepared and efficient at the job site. I've hired them several times and would recommend them to anyone needing roof or related work done, such as replacing clay tile, fixing a problem with a flat composition roof, or re-flashing, or working around the chimney, and gutters. They clean up after themselves so that you'd never know they were on site. They return calls promptly, like same day, usually, no matter if a call placed morning or afternoon. So refreshing dealing with real pros like the AB Edward company.
